Heart Hounds
What is it about one hound that stands out so much in our eyes, mind, and heart?
What is it that makes this one hound special above all the others?
Why is it that not all of them can be as special as the one Heart Hound?
Heart Hounds come too few in our lives, and are loved deeper than any other while they are here, and deeply missed when they are gone. These are the few hounds that are always sent to us at just the right time in our lives, because they were meant to be. It is these hounds that are truly apart of us as a whole.
It is as if God, as he was breathing into us the breath of life, forming our DNA, forming us into who we will be, stopped for a moment after he saw his beautiful creation. He looked deep into our eyes, deep into our souls, and went to the center of it all, to the spot where his breath first touched our soul, our spirit, our body. In the center of it all, he searched through the purest of us, and found what he was looking for in the center of love. Then he took out of our hearts a piece that would someday come to us when we needed it the most. With this piece, he formed a special animal.
This animal was, and will always be, like no other. It is closer to us than any other because it is a part of us. The part of our hearts that helped God form this one special animal was one piece that was pure love, stronger than any infatuation, filled with joy and happiness, and a bond stronger than blood. What became of this piece formed something that was more beautiful than anything we have ever known. It gives us more joy than anything has ever given us. The love that is shared is unlike any other, and is deeper than any other like it. It is finding your soul-mate in the form of a hound in place of a human. It is sharing the bond of a child in the form of a hound staring at you with those eyes filled with an infinite amount of love. If you look into those eyes, you see a part of you that is happier than you ever have been before. The deeper you look, the deeper you see into your own eyes, your own heart, your own soul. You see a love that can never be put to words because there is no words to describe it. That is what makes a "Heart Hound".
May one always be in your life.
