About the Artist

Nelson Eduardo Gonzalez was born September 08, 1983 in San Antonio, Texas. He is the eldest of our three children. Nelson demonstrated at the very early age of 5 his talent and ability for art. He is quite passionate about his work and enjoys art immensely. His favorite subjects are the super heroes of the comic books. Recently he has begun making imaginative cartoons of Afghan Hounds doing what they do best, getting in trouble or being naughty. So unique are some of his ideas that so far to date he's had two cartoons published by our premiere breed magazine "The Afghan Hound Review" and its sister publication "Our Afghans". His work has also graced the cover of the premium list for the Afghan Hound Club of Austin's 1996 Specialty. Nelson's future plans are to continue on to college and pursue a degree in art in hopes of someday making his life's passion a career.
